MT. VERNON — — More than 500 people attended the Foundation Gala at the new Good Samaritan Regional Health Center facilities on Dec. 31. Victoria Woodrow, director of marketing and public relations, said the new facilities will be open by the end of January. Guests enjoyed food, drinks and tours of the new hospital and at the end of the night, rang in the new year with a fireworks display.
