MT. VERNON — — Despite the winter weather, brick work on the Aquatic Zoo is underway, with bricks being laid. Work is being done on the main bathhouse which will also contain the electrical and mechanical elements to the aquatic center. The Zoo is expected to open July 4.

New park shelter to be completed Friday
