The first-place winner in the Southern Illinois Harvest Festival Scarecrow Contest was Mt. Vernon Health Care. Debbie James of social service and Administrator Carrell Breeze show off the scarecrow, made by residents and Activities Director Debbie Newbury and Activities Assistant Beth Wilson.
